EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured therapy that focuses on trauma memories.  It helps to change the way the memory is stored in the brain through bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), therefore reducing and eliminating the problematic symptoms caused by the trauma.  EMDR has also been used successfully to help with phobias, depression, grief and severe anxiety.
