Spiritual awakening can be a mixed bag. There are the glorious bits: connection with an expanded awareness, insights, new connections, understanding and honing our abilities. There can also be more challenging aspects: doubt, changing relationships, overwhelm, and the infamous 'dark night of the soul'.
